Hello,

It is with great sadness that I have to advise that Keith Bailey’s wife Isabelle, passed on Sunday 6 June. Keith is the current Community Spiritual Director for Protea Emmaus.  I chatted to Keith this morning and he is finding comfort in the fact that Isabelle is with our Lord and Saviour, but it will no doubt still be a very difficult time for him and their family.

Hello Community,

Firstly can I ask that we don’t all try and contact Alda she will keep in contact with us. Please pray for the following – Dave has cut off the finger of his small finger on his right hand. Alda is racing to a plastic surgeon in Jhb.

1.        Please pray for their safety in the traffic
2        Please pray that they can save the finger, David says its a small piece.
3.        It is very painful please pray for a pain free journey.

An update on Grace Valashiya is that the operation was successful and she has been discharged from hospital. Praise God for His undertaking and thank you to all the community members for your prayers.

Thanks to all the faithful servants of our Lord who have volunteered and are serving in September. We now need ladies to volunteer for our October Ladies Walk – dates:

We need approximately 35 volunteers.
We appeal to our experienced Community but also to those of you who have recently walked. We need people with a servants heart and the love of God who want to give back and be part of a wonderful experience. Forms must be in by 18th June – team selection Saturday 25th June 1030am.

Baby Addisyn gave up her life this past weekend, please can the Community pray for the entire McDonald family, especially Haley and Nick, her mommy & daddy.

Please can the community pray for Grace Valashiya. She is in ICU  at Union Hospital Alberton. She goes for an operation on Wednesday to remove clots. She was admitted on Saturday with chest pains. She is one of our early Emmaus Pilgrims and a faithful servant of her Lord.

Please could the community keep Beryl Dean in their prayers, she is currently in the Milpark hospital under observation.
